Fleet Administration Supervisor

Permanent / Full Time

Monday to Friday, 72.5 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight

$107,154 - $111,619 per annum (LGIA Stream A Level 5) + Superannuation

Your new role

Lead the team that keeps one of Council's most critical assets moving.

As Fleet Administration Supervisor, you'll play a key role in supporting the efficient management of Council's diverse fleet by leading a dedicated administration team and overseeing the systems, processes and planning that keep operations running smoothly.

This is more than a supervisory role. You'll be the driving force behind fleet administration, coordinating maintenance programs, managing asset information, monitoring performance and compliance, and ensuring strong relationships with internal stakeholders and service providers. Your ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement practical solutions will directly contribute to the effectiveness and sustainability of Council's fleet operations.

Working closely with a broad range of teams across the organisation, you'll have the opportunity to influence business outcomes, enhance service delivery and support strategic decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis.

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

Relevant degree or significant experience in fleet/workshop administration leadership

Application Criteria

Degree qualification in Business Management (or related discipline) and/or extensive experience in senior fleet or workshop administration/supervisory roles

Strong analytical capability, with proven experience reporting on fleet, asset, maintenance and financial data to support decision-making and budget management

Hands-on experience in workshop administration, including work order coordination, maintenance planning, procurement activities and service delivery alignment

Demonstrated ability to collaborate, communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels, with strong problem-solving skills focused on systems, process and fleet/work management improvements
