About NCVE

We're not a big corporate machine. We're a tight, experienced team that prides itself on small cohorts, dedicated trainers and rapid response times. Our students get real attention, and our trainers get the support to do the job properly.

NCVE is one of the South Coast's most trusted Registered Training Organisations, delivering nationally recognised training across hospitality, aged care, community services, construction, supply chain and business. Demand for our hospitality compliance courses is growing across Sydney — and we need a trainer who's already set up to deliver them in NSW.

The role

We're after a qualified Trainer/Assessor to deliver and assess RSA (SITHFAB021 Provide responsible service of alcohol) and RCG (SITHGAM022 Provide responsible gambling services) for NSW competency cards. This is a part-time / contractor role with flexible scheduling across Sydney.

Important: You must already be an approved trainer with Liquor & Gaming NSW to deliver RSA and RCG in NSW. This is a non-negotiable requirement — please only apply if you currently hold this approval.

What you'll be doing

Delivering engaging, compliant RSA and RCG training to small groups

Assessing students and processing the interim certificate / competency card requirements correctly through the NSW system

Keeping delivery aligned with Liquor & Gaming NSW requirements and NCVE's compliance framework

Maintaining your own industry currency, credentials and L&G NSW approval

Working with our admin and compliance team to keep everything audit-ready

What we're looking for

Current approval with Liquor & Gaming NSW to deliver RSA and RCG — essential, non-negotiable

TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or TAE40116 with a commitment to upgrade) — essential

Vocational competency in, and the ability to deliver and assess, SITHFAB021 and SITHGAM022

Recent, relevant industry experience in hospitality and/or gaming

Confident, engaging delivery style with a solid grasp of the compliance detail

Based in Sydney, or able to travel across the metro area for scheduled training days

Own reliable transport; valid NSW driver's licence

What's in it for you

Flexible part-time / contract work that fits around your schedule

Competitive hourly rate, negotiable based on experience

A supportive team that handles the admin so you can focus on training

Regular, ongoing work with an established RTO — not a one-off gig

The backing of an RTO with 25+ years' experience and a strong industry reputation
