About the role

Rock of Ages Church is seeking a passionate and spiritually mature Youth Pastor who has a heart for discipling young people and helping the next generation follow Christ.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the church's Youth Ministry.
• Teach and communicate God's Word in a relevant and biblically faithful way.
• Preach in Youth Service, plan and oversee youth gatherings, community groups, and special events.
• Build meaningful relationships with youths through mentoring and pastoral care.
• Recruit, train, and nurture youth leaders.
• Partner with parents to encourage the spiritual growth of their youths.
• Develop strategies for outreach and evangelism among young people.

About you

• Demonstrated calling and passion for youth ministry.
• Sound understanding of Scripture and Christian doctrine.
• Strong communication, leadership, and relational skills.
• Experience in youth ministry or a related pastoral role is preferred.
• Formal theological or ministry training is an advantage.
• Passionate about seeing young people grow in their relationship with Christ.
• Energetic, approachable, and compassionate, a team player with a servant's heart.
