Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of industrial fans and blowers, supplying high-quality equipment and solutions across a range of industries.

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to join their team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys troubleshooting, testing, wiring and working with industrial electrical equipment.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for the electrical testing, wiring, maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial fans, motors and associated equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Test, wire and maintain industrial fans, motors and associated electrical components
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and technical specifications
• Test motors and electrical components for functionality, safety and compliance
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and identify root causes
• Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Repair or replace faulty electrical components
• Complete FATs, performance testing, inspections and service documentation
• Maintain accurate maintenance and service records
• Work alongside other trades and contractors to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and apprentices
• Respond to service and operational issues as required
• Ensure all work is completed in line with relevant safety standards, regulations and procedures
• Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors and team members

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Electrical Technician, Electrician or relevant electrical trade qualification
• Commercial or industrial electrical experience highly regarded
• Previous experience working with motors, machinery or industrial equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Confident using electrical testing equipment including multimeters
• Experience with vibration sensors or trim balancing equipment is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work autonomously and manage tasks through to completion
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Physically capable of bending, kneeling, lifting and climbing as required
• Current driver's licence
