n exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Legal Assistant to join a leading legal team of a highly regarded Australian-owned law firm in its Melbourne CBD office.

The Role:
Supporting a Partner and a Special Counsel across both front-end advisory and back-end litigation matters, you'll enjoy a varied role with plenty of responsibility, providing high-quality administrative and practice support including:

• Preparing and formatting legal documents and advice
• Document amendments using track changes
• Preparing briefs for Counsel
• Billing and expense management
• Diary and travel coordination
• Client reporting and correspondence
• Inbox and file management

About You:

• 2+ years' experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant
• Experience within a private practice law firm
• Excellent document formatting and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
• A proactive, client-focused and team-oriented approach
