n exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Legal Assistant to join a leading legal team of a highly regarded Australian-owned law firm in its Melbourne CBD office.
The Role:
Supporting a Partner and a Special Counsel across both front-end advisory and back-end litigation matters, you'll enjoy a varied role with plenty of responsibility, providing high-quality administrative and practice support including:
- Preparing and formatting legal documents and advice
- Document amendments using track changes
- Preparing briefs for Counsel
- Billing and expense management
- Diary and travel coordination
- Client reporting and correspondence
- Inbox and file management
About You:
- 2+ years' experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant
- Experience within a private practice law firm
- Excellent document formatting and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A proactive, client-focused and team-oriented approach

Please note this is a role working full-time in the office for the first 6 months, offering hybrid working arrangements (2 days work from home) thereafter.
