This is a crucial role within our company and will suit experienced and future focused, Structural Design Engineer with a strong background in Building Services / Buildings Engineering Consultancy to join an established and growing professional team.

An experienced Structural Engineer who enjoys technically challenging projects, client interaction, design responsibility and the opportunity to progress into senior management.

Position Overview:

As our Senior Structural Engineer, you will be immersed in a positive, supportive, and challenging work environment. You will have the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio including:

High-rise, educational, industrial, institutional, commercial, retail, stadiums, and sports facilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Structural design and engineering calculations

· Structural analysis and design documentation

· Structural steel and reinforced concrete design

· Developing practical and cost-effective engineering solutions

· Coordinating structural design with architects and other engineering disciplines

· Managing structural documentation and project requirements

· Liaising with clients, builders, consultants and contractors

· Conducting site inspections and providing construction support

· Reviewing designs, drawings and technical documentation

· Supporting and mentoring less experienced engineers

· Managing multiple projects and competing deadlines

Your "outside the box" thinking, solid planning and Design skills will be a huge asset in this role along with the ability to establish strong relationships with all internal divisions and our Clients.

About You: To be successful, you will ideally have:

· A Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent

· Must have 5+ years' Australian experience in a Building Services / Buildings structural engineering consultancy

· Strong structural design experience across commercial and/or complex building projects

· Strong knowledge and practical experience with Australian Standards and the NCC

· Strong structural steel and reinforced concrete design capability

· Excellent structural analysis and design skills

· Experience with ETABS and Space Gass

· Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD and Bluebeam

· Strong client-facing and communication skills

· Excellent organisation and time management

· The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team

· A proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach

· Project management experience would be highly regarded

· CPEng / RPEQ or the ability to obtain registration would be advantageous

· Unrestricted Australian working rights
