Executive, Merchandising & E-Commerce (Japanese Speaking) (Ref: 37659)
Salary: S$5,000 - S$6,000

Our client, a renowned animation, film, and entertainment company specializing in IP and visual content licensing, product merchandising, and marketing across Southeast Asia, is seeking a Merchandising Executive to support the end-to-end development of licensed merchandise across Asia.

【 Responsibilities 】
- Coordinate the development of new merchandise with external manufacturing partners and licensees.
- Manage project timelines and ensure smooth execution throughout the product development process.
- Coordinate internal product approval and supervision processes with relevant stakeholders.
- Evaluate product pricing, profitability, and business feasibility using existing financial models.
- Assist to prepare sales forecasts and estimate demand for new products in collaboration with internal teams and OEM partners.
- Support merchandising strategy by monitoring product performance and market trends.
- Prepare reports and presentation materials for management.

【 Requirements & Preferences 】
(Must)
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- At least 3 years of experience in project management, including timeline coordination and progress tracking across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple products, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese (JLPT N2 or above) to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and the headquarters.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint in a business environment.
- Genuine interest in animation and the entertainment industry.
- Willingness to travel overseas regularly for business purposes.

(Advantageous)
- Experience in merchandising, consumer products, licensing, or the FMCG industry.
- Experience operating or supporting e-commerce platforms (e.g. Shopee, Lazada, Amazon, Shopify).
- Experience in product planning, sourcing, or OEM manufacturing.
