About the Opportunity
Sydney developer and builder with development and construction in house
Portfolio level reporting role across a diverse residential pipeline
Direct exposure to senior leadership and portfolio decision making
Want visibility across an entire development portfolio rather than one site?
Our client is a Sydney based residential developer and builder, delivering a diverse pipeline of Class 2 and mixed use projects across the city. Development and construction sit under one roof, so leadership needs a consolidated and verified view of progress across the group's active portfolio.
About the Role
Reporting to the Managing Director and Executive Leadership, you consolidate, verify and report on progress across the group's residential development and construction portfolio. This is a portfolio level reporting role rather than a single project role, and it does not carry decision making authority. You gather information from internal site and project teams, consultants and any external contractors, check it against actual site conditions, and turn it into reporting leadership can act on.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain program level dashboards, S-curves and milestone trackers for leadership review
Develop and maintain risk registers across the portfolio and escalate emerging issues early
Prepare weekly and monthly status reports covering progress, budget position and key risks
Verify reported progress against site conditions, documentation and cost reports
Support progress claims, variations and extension of time assessments
Track development approval and construction certificate conditions and milestones
Coordinate meeting schedules, prepare agendas and minutes, and track action items to completion
Liaise with internal project and site teams, consultants, authorities and any external contractors to keep reporting current
About You
Three or more years' experience in property development, construction or client side project management, with five or more years and portfolio level exposure highly regarded
Hands on experience with Class 2 residential or mixed use developments
Working knowledge of project scheduling tools, including Gantt charts and S-curve analysis
Advanced Excel skills, including building and maintaining dashboards and status reports
Tertiary qualification in project management, construction management, architecture or engineering
Current NSW driver licence and white card
Conversational to professional Mandarin alongside English is highly regarded given the group's stakeholder base
What's on Offer
Direct exposure to senior leadership and the information that shapes portfolio decisions
A pathway toward broader project or program responsibility as the portfolio grows
Exposure to a diverse pipeline of residential and mixed use developments and builds across Sydney
