About the role

As the Team Leader at Suprima Bakeries Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing a team on the packing line during the night shift. This full-time position is based in Minto, NSW and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and coordinate the work of a team of production staff during the night shift to ensure efficient and high-quality operations

Monitor production targets and quality standards, implementing corrective measures as needed

Provide hands-on support and guidance to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment

Identify training needs and facilitate the development of team members' skills and capabilities

Liaise with other departments, such as maintenance and logistics, to ensure smooth operations

Implement and enforce all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

Contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes and workflows

What we're looking for

Significant experience in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally in a team leader or supervisory role

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on quality and efficiency

Proficiency in operational planning, scheduling, and inventory management

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

Relevant qualifications or certifications in production, manufacturing, or a related field
