St Peter's College is a Catholic Co-educational Secondary College in Melbourne's south-east region that has a proud history of fostering the educational and spiritual development of its students. For the commencement of the 2027 school year, we are seeking to appoint a Health and PE Coach based at the Cranbourne Campus.

Leadership Positions at the College have an initial tenure of 3 years and are attached to permanent teaching position. After a successful mid-term review, a further 3 years will be offered.

Our ideal candidates:

Can lead, support, and mentor the HPE teaching team to foster professional growth.

Oversee the strategic planning, development, and delivery of the Year 7–12 HPE curriculum and assessment tasks.

Promote a safe, inclusive, and active learning culture across the school.

Develops and maintains effective relationships with families.

Teach assigned classes within the health and physical education domain.

An understanding of the Victorian Curriculum and different teaching methodologies.

Excellent communication skills.

Competent in digital technologies.

The successful applicants will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children and will hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.

Salary

In accordance with the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Agreement 2022, from 1 July 2025, the salary range for all teaching staff is $79,589 – $118,063. The POL allowance for the Health and PE Coach is $6,326.
