About Dokodemo Sitter
Dokodemo Sitter is a Singapore-based Japanese-speaking babysitting service operated by All For Fan Singapore Pte Ltd. Since 2019, we have supported more than 1,000 family-care assignments across Singapore.
The opportunity
We are looking for caring and responsible part-time babysitters who can communicate in conversational Japanese with parents and children. Applicants of all nationalities are welcome.
Key responsibilities
Supervise children safely at the family’s home or an agreed location
Play with children indoors and outdoors
Assist with meals, bathing and bedtime routines
Pick up or accompany children to school and enrichment activities
Support homework and age-appropriate activities
Communicate clearly with parents about the child’s wellbeing
Schedule and location
Flexible, assignment-based schedule
Even a few hours or one assignment per month is welcome
Most current assignments are approximately 3 hours
Assignments are available across Singapore; preferred working areas can be discussed
Pay and training
From S$18 per hour
Higher rates may be offered based on experience, performance and services provided
Classroom training, accompanied on-the-job training and newborn-care training are available
Motivated first-time sitters may apply
Requirements
Conversational Japanese sufficient to communicate with parents and children
Genuine interest in working with children
Responsible, punctual and safety-conscious
Must already be legally permitted to work in Singapore
Eligible applicants may include Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents, eligible ICA-issued LTVP/LTVP+ holders with the relevant PLOC/LOC, Work Holiday Pass holders, and eligible students who meet MOM work conditions.
We do not provide visa or work-pass sponsorship for this role. Migrant Domestic Workers cannot be engaged for this role.
