Recruitment Select is recruiting for a Production Supervisor on behalf of a leading manufacturer based in Albury. This position will commence on a full-time casual basis and will transition to a permanent role. Hours of work will be on a dayshift, Monday to Friday with overtime readily available during peak season.

Previous experience in a supervisory role is beneficial but candidates with a positive attitude and a want to advance into a supervisory role will be provided suitable training.

As the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and administration of the production department. During peak seasons, you will lead and coordinate seasonal staff, while in quieter periods you will take a hands-on approach, operating plant and equipment and assisting with stock management and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Work closely with the Operations Manager to recruit, induct, train and manage seasonal staff.

· Coordinate production activities to ensure blending and coating plants operate safely, efficiently and meet production targets.

· Manage staffing, scheduling and workflow requirements.

· Monitor consumables, including bags, chemicals, powders and inoculants, to minimise downtime.

· Ensure production records, work orders and administrative documentation are accurately completed and maintained.

· Assist with stock control and inventory management at the Albury site.

· Ensure plant and equipment are serviced and maintained in line with scheduled maintenance programs.

· Maintain a clean, tidy and organised production environment.

· Promote and adhere to workplace health and safety procedures and standards.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

· Strong attention to detail.

· Proven ability to prioritise tasks, delegate effectively and manage workloads.

· The ability to work under pressure and use initiative.

· Excellent communication and leadership skills.

· A positive attitude and strong team-focused approach.

· A current Forklift Licence.

· A current Driver Licence.

· Good physical fitness, including the ability to lift and stack items weighing up to 25kg.

· Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Outlook.

A Drug and Alcohol test and Police Check will be required to complete before starting.
