Locksmith – Residential & Commercial

Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified and customer-focused Locksmith to join our growing team. The successful candidate will provide a wide range of locksmith services across residential, commercial, strata, retail, and industrial sectors. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Install, repair, service, and replace mechanical locking systems.

Perform lock rekeying, master keying, and restricted key system installations.

Attend residential lockouts and emergency callouts.

Diagnose and repair damaged locks and door hardware.

Open locked vehicles.

Conduct on-site security assessments and recommend appropriate security solutions.

Complete service documentation and maintain accurate job records.

Ensure all work complies with relevant security licensing requirements and industry standards.

Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a professional condition.

Skills & Experience

Essential

Previous experience as a locksmith.

Current Security Licence.

Strong knowledge of residential and commercial locking systems.

Ability to diagnose and resolve lock and security issues efficiently.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Current Australian Driver's Licence.

Ability to work independently.

Desirable

Experience with access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.

Safe installation and servicing experience.

Restricted key system experience.
