Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive to grow and manage a network of mortgage brokers, financial advisers, accountants and property professionals.

The Position

This is a true business development role combining relationship management with new business generation.

You will become a trusted partner to your broker and referrer network - understanding their businesses, educating them on lending products and credit appetite, identifying opportunities and ultimately driving loan origination.

You'll be responsible for:

• Developing and growing relationships with mortgage brokers and key referral partners
• Identifying and converting new broker and referrer relationships
• Educating partners on products, lending criteria and deal structures
• Working with brokers to identify and structure lending opportunities
• Building a strong pipeline and driving loan originations
• Representing the business at networking and industry events
• Monitoring activity, conversion and market opportunities
• Consistently achieving monthly and quarterly targets

The Person

You are commercially minded, confident and highly personable, with the drive to build a network and generate business.

You could already be working in lending or mortgage broking, or you may come from a strong sales background within real estate, financial services or another property-related environment.

Most importantly, you're proactive. You enjoy getting on the phone, meeting people, building relationships and turning those relationships into business.

You'll ideally bring:

• Previous sales or business development experience
• Exposure to lending, mortgage broking, property or financial services highly regarded
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills
• A genuine new-business mentality
• Confidence presenting and communicating with senior stakeholders
• Commercial acumen and an ability to identify opportunities
• Strong organisation, CRM and pipeline management skills
• High energy, resilience and a desire to succeed
