ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Fire Services Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of fire protection systems across a range of projects. Working closely with a Senior Engineer, you’ll develop your technical skills and gain valuable experience while providing technical expertise, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and working with clients, architects and other key stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.

DUTIES.

  • Design and document fire protection systems, including hydrants, hose reels, sprinklers and dry fire systems
  • Liaise with clients, contractors and key stakeholders to support successful project delivery
  • Conduct site inspections and provide technical input throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate fire services with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient and compliant designs
  • Ensure all designs meet Australian Standards, relevant regulations and project requirements

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Diploma in Fire Systems Design, or a relevant qualification.
  • FPAS accreditation, or desire to work towards accreditation (preferred)
  • Demonstrated local experience within the building services industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in design and documentation software, including Revit and Bluebeam
