PSI, DSI, Remediation & Groundwater Projects Across NSW

Environmental Scientist / Consultant in Contaminated Land ready to move beyond basic site investigations and waste classification work into larger, more technically interesting projects.

A lot of consultants in the 2–4 year experience bracket find themselves stuck delivering the same repeatable work. This role offers something different. You'll be involved in Preliminary and Detailed Site Investigations, remediation programs, validation works and groundwater-focused projects across major infrastructure, rail, development and council portfolios throughout NSW.

You'll still be out in the field, but you'll also be trusted with increasing levels of project responsibility, client interaction and mentoring of junior staff as you develop towards Project Manager level.

The Role

You'll join a well-established contaminated land team delivering investigations, remediation and validation projects across a diverse client base.

Deliver PSI, DSI, remediation and validation projects across NSW

Undertake soil, groundwater and environmental sampling programs

Assist with project management, reporting and client communications

Liaise directly with clients and provide advice on project requirements

Support the supervision and mentoring of junior consultants and graduates

Work across large council portfolios, rail projects, property developments and major infrastructure works

Travel periodically throughout NSW to support field programs and project delivery

Contribute to technical reporting and project planning activities

Asbestos assessments

What You'll Bring

2years' experience in Contaminated Land Management consulting

Experience undertaking site investigations and environmental field work

Exposure to contaminated land reporting and project delivery

Relevant Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related degree

Full Australian working rights

Ideally some experience with asbestos assessment.

$85,000 - $90,000 + Super
