Responsibilities:

Assist the Safety Manager in leading the safety team and subcontractors to implement company WSH systems and requirements at project sites.

Monitor workplace safety, health and environmental practices to ensure compliance with MOM regulations and project requirements.

Conduct risk assessments, site inspections and safety audits, ensuring proper housekeeping and safe work practices.

Develop and implement Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and other safety documentation.

Enforce company safety rules and investigate WSH incidents, accidents and safety violations, recommending corrective actions.

Prepare HSE reports, safety statistics and statutory submissions, and support monthly WSH Committee meetings.

Liaise with MOM, NEA, PUB and other relevant authorities on WSH and environmental matters.

Conduct safety briefings, training and HSE awareness programmes for site personnel and workers.

Monitor and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely closure of safety issues.

Support worker rehabilitation and return-to-work arrangements following workplace incidents.

Lead and manage safety personnel to ensure effective implementation of site safety programmes.

Perform other WSH and HSE-related duties as assigned by the Safety Manager / Project Manager.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Workplace Safety & Health, Environmental, Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 3 years of relevant WSH / HSE experience in construction, M&E or infrastructure projects.

Possess a valid WSH Officer (WSHO) certification/registration recognised by MOM.

Good knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations, Risk Assessment, Safe Work Procedures and safety management systems.

Experience conducting site inspections, safety audits, incident investigations and safety training.

Familiar with relevant requirements from MOM, NEA, PUB and other regulatory authorities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with preparing HSE reports and documentation.

Candidates with LTA / MRT / major infrastructure project experience will have an advantage.
