At Loft Home, we are growing our Shopify website for modern furniture shoppers in Singapore, and we are looking for a Shopify Developer to be part of our team. If you are strong in Shopify theme development, enjoy building practical website improvements, and can explain technical work clearly to a non-technical business owner, we would love to meet you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Maintain and improve the Loft Home Shopify website.

Build and amend Shopify theme sections, homepage areas, product pages, collection pages, cart pages, and cart-related layouts.

Create new website sections based on reference images, competitor examples, or business instructions.

Improve mobile responsiveness, website speed, user experience, and technical SEO.

Work with Shopify apps, configure app settings, and troubleshoot theme or app conflicts.

Build simple private Shopify apps when Shopify native features, theme code, or existing apps cannot fulfil the task.

Deploy and maintain small custom apps on DigitalOcean or similar cloud hosting platforms.

Follow a safe workflow using duplicate themes, preview links, testing, approval, and rollback planning.

Provide weekly plain-language updates with completed work, preview links, testing notes, risks, and next steps.

What We’re Looking for

Hands-on experience in Shopify theme development.

Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Experience with Shopify Online Store 2.0, including sections, blocks, JSON templates, and theme customizer settings.

Good understanding of Shopify Admin, metafields, product data, collection data, cart behavior, and Shopify API usage.

Ability to build simple private Shopify apps for our own store when needed.

Basic cloud hosting knowledge, especially DigitalOcean or similar platforms.

Technical SEO awareness, including clean page structure, headings, schema markup, metadata support, image alt text, internal links, crawlability, and page speed.

Good communication skills in English and ability to explain technical matters clearly.

Familiarity with Git or version control is preferred.

Diploma/Degree in Computer Science / IT / Computer Engineering or related discipline
