About the role
Sky tanking Australia is seeking Into-Plane Operator (Refueller) to join our team at Sydney International Airport. We currently have part-time role available.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently refuelling aircraft, playing a crucial part in supporting the smooth operation of flights, being an integral member of our operations team, and contributing to the success of our operations.

What you will be doing

Safely and accurately refuel arriving aircraft using specialised aviation fuel trucks and equipment

Monitor and maintain appropriate fuel levels, ensuring aircraft have sufficient fuel for their onward journeys

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and minimise environmental impact

Collaborate with other ground crew to coordinate the refuelling process and minimise aircraft turnaround times

Maintain detailed records of all refuelling activities and report any issues or discrepancies

Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices

What we are looking for

At least 2 years' experience as an Into-Plane Operator or similar role in the aviation industry (desirable)

A valid NSW Class C driver's licence and experience operating large commercial vehicles

HR Licence (desirable)

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety, with the ability to follow procedures precisely

Good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively as part of a team

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends

A passion for the aviation industry and a desire to contribute to the efficient operation of flights

Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for the physical demands of the role
