About the role
The Senior Dentist (Clinical) provides a high standard of oral healthcare to eligible patients within the General Practice Oral Health Service (GPOHS), Metro North Oral Health Services. Based across the Caboolture Satellite and Caboolture Community Dental Clinics, the role delivers advanced clinical dental services while supporting the provision of safe, effective and patient-centred oral health care.
The successful candidate will undertake a broad range of general dental procedures, including complex extractions and minor oral surgery, while providing clinical leadership and professional guidance to oral health teams. The role also contributes to service development, education, quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary collaboration to support positive patient outcomes and service excellence.

- Provide advanced general dental services, including complex procedures, oral surgery and management of patients with diverse oral health needs.
- Deliver high-level clinical advice and work collaboratively with patients, families, multidisciplinary teams and external healthcare providers.
- Provide leadership, support and guidance to oral health clinicians while promoting evidence-based dentistry and high-quality patient care.
- Support education, supervision and professional development activities for students, trainees and members of the oral health workforce.
- Actively participate in quality improvement, service enhancement and clinical governance activities that support safe and sustainable oral health services.
