Core Talent are currently working with a Tier 1 electrical contractor delivering major commercial, infrastructure, health and industrial projects across Queensland.

We are looking for a BIM Coordinator to join their electrical team, working across the design, coordination and delivery of major electrical packages.
This is a great opportunity for someone already working in BIM coordination, or an experienced Electrical BIM Modeller / Technician ready to step into a coordinator role.

The Role

• Coordinate and maintain electrical BIM models in Revit
• Coordinate electrical services within multidisciplinary models
• Review models and drawings, identifying and resolving clashes
• Run clash detection using Navisworks
• Work closely with engineers, designers, project teams and site teams
• Attend coordination and design meetings
• Support model development from design through to construction and as-built stages
• Ensure models meet project requirements and BIM standards
• Provide practical input around constructability and site installation

About You

We’re open to different levels of experience, but you’ll need a solid understanding of electrical services and construction.
Ideally, you’ll have:

• Strong Revit experience
• Electrical BIM modelling or coordination experience
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
• An understanding of electrical services, coordination and construction methodology
• Experience across HV/LV, power, lighting, communications or other electrical services will be highly regarded.
