About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Educational Leader to join our team on a part-time or Full time basis. Full time position will include a permant educator role in the 12 place 2-3 year old room.

This is a key leadership role within our centre, responsible for guiding and enhancing the educational program while also working alongside educators across rooms to support high-quality practice.

The educational Leader role includes a minimum of 4hours off the floor weekly.

The educator role includes an additional minimum of 3hours off the floor weekly.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and support the implementation of the educational program across the centre

Mentor and guide educators in best practice and educational pedagogy

Work collaboratively with staff to reflect on and improve teaching practices

Support families in understanding and responding to their children’s developmental needs

Assist with inclusion support, Kindergarten Inclusion Support and the PSFO (Preschool Field Officer) program

About You

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Room Leader in early childhood education

Must have experience as an Educational Leader

Strong understanding of educational pedagogy and reflective practice

Passion for mentoring and supporting educators

Must have strong knowledge and experience in inclusive practices and supporting diverse developmental needs

Excellent communication skills with families and colleagues

A collaborative and community-minded approach
