Our Client:

As the Senior People & Culture Advisor, you will serve as a trusted partner to Residential Managers, Clinical Leaders, and Executive stakeholders, providing expert guidance across workforce management, employee relations, compliance, and organisational culture within a residential aged care environment. This newly created role reports to the Employee Relations Manager and is based at Head Office. The position offers a broad and rewarding remit encompassing employee relations, HR business partnering, leadership coaching and support, recruitment and workforce planning, performance and capability development, compliance and risk management, employee engagement and wellbeing, as well as HR reporting and strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert People & Culture advice and guidance to managers on employee and industrial relations matters, ensuring best-practice people management.
  • Lead and manage performance management processes, disciplinary matters, grievances, and workplace investigations in a fair, consistent, and compliant manner.
  • Coach and support leaders to build capability in people leadership, employment legislation, and effective workforce management.
  • Partner with leaders to deliver recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning strategies that attract and retain high-quality talent.
  • Drive workforce initiatives, employee engagement programs, and culture-focused projects that enhance the employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and organisational policies while mitigating employment-related risk.
  • Analyse workforce data, prepare HR reports, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and strategic People & Culture projects.
  • Support leadership development, talent management, and succession planning initiatives to strengthen organisational capability and future workforce readiness.

The Successful Candidate:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes, including partnering with and advising hiring managers.
  • Proven experience contributing to People & Culture initiatives, projects, and organisational change programs.
  • Well-developed communication, consultation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build working relationships at all levels.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, industrial relations frameworks, and contemporary HR practices.
  • Experience within aged care, healthcare, community services, or another highly regulated environment will be highly regarded.
  • Current National Police Clearance
