$42.47 *weekends up to hourly rate

The internal job title for this role is IKEA Food Co-worker
As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
As part of the recruitment process this role requires a pre-employment working rights check for final candidates.
Availability required:
Goods Receiver – must be available 6:00am starts Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays
Food Service cooks - Wednesday to Sunday afternoons and evenings required
Food Restaurant - Thursdays and Fridays (9pm finish)
Dishwasher - Wednesday to Sunday afternoons and evenings required
About this work area
As an IKEA Food Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
IKEA Cook Co-worker
Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised
Food preparation, cooking, serving and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels and cooking methods.
Processing dishes and maintaining the washing up area and machines whilst supporting and maintaining the cleanliness of the customer restaurant.
IKEA Restaurant Co-worker
Food preparation and customer service with a focus on giving our customers a great experience
Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised
Clearing of tables and wiping down benchtops, making sure coffee machines are clean and full
Active selling, cash handling and service with a smile!
Replenishment of food and drinks cabinets and fridges
Some manual handling – up to 15kg
IKEA Food Goods Receiver
Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised
Follow IKEA rules and Guidelines with Goods receiving
Cleaning and organise storage areas ready for delivery’s
Deep cleaning of storage areas – walk in fridges and freezers
Small amount of administrative work using a digital tool for receiving orders and pallet returns
IKEA Food Dishwasher
Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised

Who you are
As an IKEA Food Co-worker you are:
Experienced with working in an extremely fast paced, hands-on environment.
Previous hospitality experience is highly regarded.
Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people.
Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks.
