About the role

Provide tax advice (GST, withholding tax, corporate tax, transfer pricing, etc) to business partners and stakeholders, and ensure compliance of tax requirements for the Group.

Key responsibilities

Provide tax advice (GST, withholding tax, corporate tax, transfer pricing, etc) to business partners and stakeholders

Ensure compliance of tax requirements for the Group, including reviewing and/or preparing tax returns where appropriate

Manage tax queries, disputes and resolutions together with the relevant business partners and stakeholders

Review GST returns and replies to IRAS queries

Provide tax updates, if applicable, on a timely basis

Provide support in tax projects if applicable (eg local tax incentives, transfer pricing documentation, mergers and acquisition, overseas business opportunity, etc)

About you

Degree in accountancy or ACCA / CPA qualification or equivalent, or SCTP accreditation

4 – 6 years of relevant experience in a Big 4 accounting firm and/or a large organisation with in-house tax function

Good knowledge in GST / corporate tax and preferably specialize in one of the mentioned topics

Analytical and self-motivated, with good communication and interpersonal skills
