About the Opportunity

We're recruiting for an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join a Defence program in Adelaide on a 12-month hybrid contract (NV1 clearance required). You'll work closely with the IT Lead and broader security team, monitoring, investigating, and responding to security events across IT and OT environments.
Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity events and incidents
• Support incident response and coordinate with internal teams and external SOC providers
• Conduct vulnerability management, from identification through to remediation tracking
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and operational documentation
• Assess security controls across IT and OT environments and recommend improvements
• Produce security reporting and support continuous improvement initiatives

Key Skills, Background & Experience

• Experience in Cyber Security Operations or Security Analyst roles
• Strong knowledge of the ACSC ISM and Essential Eight
• Experience with SOC coordination, threat detection, and incident response
• Understanding of security controls across IT and OT environments
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

Must currently hold an NV1 clearance
