ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Intern Pharmacist, you will work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist while developing the practical knowledge and professional skills required for your pharmacy career.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing prescriptions accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision
• Counselling customers on prescription and over-the-counter medicines under supervision
• Supporting the provision of Dose Administration Aids
• Providing professional and approachable customer service
• Practising in accordance with relevant legislation and professional guidelines
• Following pharmacy policies and procedures
• Building positive relationships with patients and other healthcare professionals
• Contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the pharmacy

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have:

• A Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent completed before commencement
• Eligibility for provisional registration as a pharmacist with AHPRA
• A strong focus on patient-centred care
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to work effectively within a busy pharmacy team
• A genuine desire to learn and develop as a pharmacist

SALARY & BENEFITS

• $33–$40+ per hour, depending on experience and negotiable
