An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Retail Property Manager to join a privately owned property group with a growing portfolio of neighbourhood shopping centres. With a hands-on approach to asset management and a genuine commitment to creating thriving local communities, this organisation offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while enjoying flexibility and autonomy.

Managing a small portfolio of retail centres, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, retailers, contractors and service providers to ensure the assets are well-presented, operationally efficient and positioned for long-term success.

The Opportunity

This is a broad and rewarding role offering exposure across:

• Day-to-day retail property and centre management
• Retailer relationship management and tenant engagement
• Contractor and facilities management oversight
• Budget preparation, financial reporting and cost control
• Capital works and centre improvement projects
• Community engagement initiatives and local marketing activities
• Leasing support and tenancy coordination

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous experience managing retail shopping centres or retail assets
• Strong knowledge of retail property operations and tenant management
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
• Sound financial and budgeting capabilities
• The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team culture
