Position Background
This is an opportunity for someone with administrative experience, who provides excellent customer service and is looking for an opportunity to gain experience with a team who has many years of combined experience. You will work in a team of 2 and report to the Sales Manager and be supported with full training. The Sales Administrators provide our Sales team with customer support and service by assisting them to manage customer requests in a timely and efficient manner.

Duties in this role can include:

• To provide administrative support for all members of the Sales Team
• Support the on-demand needs of the External Sales Representatives as they arise
• Provide professional services assistance for client meetings, internal conferences and showcasing’s for the Sales department
• Managing the sales incoming and outgoing customer information
• Liaise with other departments in the business to attend to requests from customers (e.g- scheduling team)
• Coverage of reception breaks on particular allocated days

Required Experience

• Experience within a customer focused role
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone
• An ability to handle enquiries maturely and to think on your feet and problem solve when dealing with service issues.
• Ability to handle difficult customers and situations.
• Strong organisational skills to ensure all customers enquiries are responded to in a timely manner.
• Computer skills including Outlook, Word and Excel

It would be considered an advantage for candidates to have:

• An appreciation for the work flow of service requests and a sales team environment
• Had previous experience within the building/construction industry
