We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Night Shift Supervisor to lead our production team and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations during the night shift.

About the role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all night shift production activities, ensuring production targets, quality standards, food safety requirements, and operational KPIs are consistently achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading and supervising production operators across the night shift

Ensuring production schedules are executed safely, efficiently, and on time

Monitoring and improving performance through OEE, scrap, downtime, and labour efficiency measures

Driving compliance with WHS, GMP, HACCP, and company quality standards

Managing staffing, shift coverage, training, and team performance

Coordinating production start-ups, changeovers, and shift handovers

Escalating and resolving operational, maintenance, quality, and safety issues

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste and improve productivity

Maintaining a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture

About you

To be successful in this role, you will:

Have 3-5 years' experience in injection moulding or a similar manufacturing environment

Demonstrate proven leadership and supervisory experience within a production setting

Possess a strong understanding of Workplace Health & Safety, GMP, and HACCP requirements

Be capable of reading and executing production plans and schedules

Have strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Thrive in a KPI-driven environment with experience monitoring performance metrics such as OEE, scrap, and downtime

Be confident managing people, performance, and operational priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Demonstrate initiative, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement

Desirable

Experience within food packaging manufacturing

Exposure to IQMS, DelmiaWorks, or similar ERP/MES systems

Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience

Mechanical or process troubleshooting capability
