Job Responsibilities
Provide person-centric care to clients under the guidance of Senior Care Facilitator (SCF) / Executive, Client Care (ECC) / Therapist / Centre Manager
Participate in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluation of clients’ care plan
Follow work schedule on duty roster, or as advised by SCF/ ECC for anycoverage
Conduct daily health checks including blood pressure, temperature, as well as visual checks of clients
Provide assistance in basic activities of daily living needs for clients including toileting and personal hygiene care, when necessary
Provide basic first aid to clients with minor injuries
Provide medication reminder service to clients when necessary and to ensure that the medical supplies are properly stored
Facilitate / Assist in individual or group activities, including outdoor programmes
Respond to calls by clients and attend to their needs promptly
Provide escort duties when assigned; to fetch and send clients in a safe manner
Assist in food/meal preparation for clients
Perform housekeeping and infection control duties as assigned, e.g sanitization of equipment, wiping of tables and chairs, according to prevailing national advisories
Provide support to Health and Senior Care services operations when required
Requirements
Secondary School Education
Preferably some working experience in the healthcare sector
Knowledge of Mandarin/Malay/Chinese dialects to communicate with the elderly is an advantage
Able to work well in a team and have passion to serve the elderly
Good communication and interpersonal skills
