360 Personnel is seeking an experienced Asphalt Plant Batching Manager to lead the operations of a high performing asphalt production facility supporting major infrastructure and road construction projects across Tasmania on a full time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven leader with strong operational, quality and people management experience to oversee production, safety maintenance and commercial performance.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the asphalt plant, ensuring production targets, quality standards and safety requirements are consistently achieved.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage daily asphalt production and batching operations.

Lead and develop plant operators and production staff.

Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and quality standards.

Monitor mix designs and product quality to meet customer specifications.

Coordinate maintenance activities to maximise plant reliability and uptime.

Manage raw material inventories and supplier relationships.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations.

Monitor production costs, plant performance and efficiency metrics,

Work closely with project teams to ensure delivery schedules are achieved.

ABOUT YOU:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience managing a similar project.

Strong understanding of batching operations and production processes.

Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.

Knowledge of asphalt production, quality control and industry standards.

Strong commitment to workplace health, safety and environmental compliance.

Excellent planning, communication and problem solving skills.

Proven ability to manage budgets, resources and operational performance.
