About the Company/Role
Our client is a global specialty pharmaceutical company focused on life-saving medicines and critical care treatments. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supervising Cleanroom operations, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards, supporting low-bioburden serum production, and driving operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives. You will lead a team of Cleanroom Technicians while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities include:
Lead cleanroom technicians to achieve production and compliance objectives
Supervise day-to-day cleanroom manufacturing activities to meet production schedules and business requirements
Review and oversee Batch Manufacturing Records, SOPs, Quality Records, and related documentation
Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
Coordinate training plans and competency development programs for Cleanroom personnel
Manage equipment validation, calibration, maintenance schedules, and associated compliance activities
Conduct investigations, corrective actions, and root cause analysis activities as required
Collaborate closely with Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other site functions to achieve operational goals
Contribute to site leadership initiatives and broader operational strategy as a key member of the leadership team
Skills/Experience:
Tertiary qualifications in a scientific or technical discipline preferred
Experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within manufacturing
Extensive manufacturing experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, food, or similarly regulated industries
Strong knowledge of cGMP requirements and quality management systems
Experience leading teams in cleanroom or regulated production environments
Demonstrated success driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency programs
Strong problem-solving, investigation, and root cause analysis skills
Proven ability to manage documentation, compliance activities, and production reporting
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
