What You'll Do
Build trusted, positive relationships with children and young people
Deliver individualised, strengths-based support in home, school and community settings
Assist young people to develop independent living, social and life skills
Support participation in education, employment, training and community activities
Promote positive wellbeing, resilience and healthy decision-making
Work collaboratively with families, Child Safety, schools and other community services to achieve positive outcomes
Maintain accurate case notes, reports and documentation in line with organisational requirements
What You'll Bring
A genuine passion for supporting children and young people to reach their potential
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach
Current driver's licence and willingness to travel locally
Flexibility to work mornings, evenings and weekends as required
Current Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Certificate IV, Diploma or Bachelor qualification (completed or in progress) in Youth Work, Community Services, Social Work or a related field
