About the Role

This full-time position is ideal for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist who thrives in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing, calibrating, and administering radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with protocols.
  • Performing nuclear medicine imaging using PET, SPECT, and gamma cameras.
  • Positioning patients and explaining procedures clearly and compassionately.
  • Monitoring patients for reactions and ensuring radiation safety standards are met.
  • Processing and analysing images for diagnostic quality.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participating in quality assurance and equipment maintenance programs.

What You’ll Bring

  • Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and nuclear medicine imaging principles.
  • Proficiency in the safe handling, preparation, and administration of radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Experience with PET, SPECT, CT, and gamma camera systems.
  • Ability to analyse image quality and adjust procedures accordingly.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with imaging equipment and safety systems.
  • Commitment to maintaining accuracy in documentation and patient records.
  • Clear and compassionate communication with patients, including those who are anxious or vulnerable.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and fellow technologists.
