Command Concrete Pumping is a growing concrete pumping business based in Wangara, Western Australia. We provide reliable and professional concrete pumping services across residential, commercial and civil construction projects throughout the Perth metropolitan area.
The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Scheduler / Operations Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis.
This hybrid role offers flexibility to work from home and from our Wangara yard office. Working closely with the Director, you will play a key role in coordinating daily operations, supporting customers, scheduling crews and equipment, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and safely.
Success in this role requires strong planning skills, excellent communication, and the ability to anticipate challenges before they arise. You will ensure our operators have everything they need to deliver outstanding service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage daily concrete pumping operations.
Schedule operators, boom pumps and equipment across multiple projects.
Receive and respond to customer enquiries.
Confirm job requirements, site access, pump selection and scheduling requirements.
Prepare quotations, work orders, job schedules and supporting documentation.
Communicate schedules, updates and changes clearly with customers and operational teams.
Monitor job progress and respond quickly to delays, breakdowns or changing priorities.
Process invoicing and support accounts administration.
Assist with purchasing, supplier coordination and general operational administration.
Conduct occasional site visits to assess pump accessibility and project requirements.
Maintain accurate records and operational documentation.
Support compliance with workplace health, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in scheduling, logistics, operations coordination or project administration.
Experience within the concrete, construction, transport or civil industries.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
Confidence coordinating field-based personnel, equipment and changing priorities.
Strong computer skills
High attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities.
A sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
The ability to make timely decisions in a fast-paced operational environment.
A current Australian driver's licence.
Desirable
Previous experience as a Concrete Pump Operator.
Technical knowledge of concrete pumping operations.
Construction White Card.
Former concrete pump operators are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates with industry experience will be considered even if they do not have previous scheduling experience.
