Casual Receptionist

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Casual Guest Services Agent to join our team at Mantra and Peppers Gladstone. This role would be primarily afternoon/evening shifts, requiring the availability to work across 7 days, including weekends and public holidays. The ideal person for this role will be friendly with a can-do attitude, with a strong focus on teamwork.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Provide quality service to the customer by responding to their requests promptly, efficiently and courteously throughout their stay.

Maintain control of guest and hotel accounts ensuring that all charges are accurate and posted on a timely basis.

Promote hotel facilities and maximise sales through sound product knowledge and selling skills.

Meet and greet all guests/members coming into the property in a friendly and professional manner.

Handle incoming reservation inquires via phone, email and online channels..

Desirable Attributes

Previous experience in customer service or hospitality role preferred.

Knowledge and use of Excel, Outlook, OPERA or other Hotel PMS systems.

Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.

Current Open Class (C) Drivers License.

Capable of a completing a job with some physical demands.

Positive attitude and meticulous attention to detail.

A history of being reliable and dedicated.
