The Organisation

Deliver high-level customer service for our client operating in the financial and technology industry. Our client operates on a global scale, leading the way in payment solutions with products like credit, debit, prepaid, and commercial cards, as well as digital payment technologies in over 210 countries and territories worldwide.

Located in St Leonards, within close walking distance from the train station, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly talented and motivated team across the APAC region. This role is a 6+ month contract.

Must be able to speak native Japanese and fluent in Keigo and English.

The Opportunity

As a Customer Service Consultant, you will work in our client's Customer Service team predominantly supporting the Japanese market. Those with a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a desire to offer the best service and experience will be best suited to the role. This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable and motivated individual who wants to advance their career in a fast-paced industry.

Please Note: Professional proficiency in Japanese, both speaking and writing is required.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Responding to all customer enquiries via inbound calls regarding products, returns, and placing orders.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to all stakeholders of the business, ensuring accurate data is maintained.
  • Assisting the sales and marketing team with promotional activities when required.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Professional proficiency in Japanese, speaking and writing, is required.
  • Entry-level position - no prior experience required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build customer rapport.
  • An ability to learn new systems and processes.
  • An eagerness to learn new things and grow your knowledge.

Hours of Work

The role operates on a rotating roster. You must be able to work any day and time as the team operates 7 days per week, 24 hours per day.
