We are looking for a Plumber or Site Manager with a strong plumbing background who understands how hydraulic services come together on site and can confidently coordinate people, projects, clients and technical requirements.
You do not need a drafting background. What matters is your hands-on plumbing knowledge, construction experience and ability to manage the delivery of projects from start to finish.
Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will become a key point of contact for hydraulic projects, ensuring work is coordinated effectively, issues are resolved quickly and projects remain on track.
Key Responsibilities

- Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard
What you will not be doing
You will not be expected to know everything from day one or manage every project independently.
This is a supported leadership position, with an experienced Operations Manager providing guidance as you transition into the role. The focus is on bringing your plumbing and construction knowledge into a broader project delivery environment.
How you will be set up for success
- Management training and professional development
- Weekly check-ins to work through current projects
- A gradual handover and structured transition into the role
- Ongoing support from the Operations Manager
- The opportunity to develop your leadership and project management skills
The Like Mind

- Trade-qualified plumber with strong commercial plumbing experience – essential
- Previous experience as a Site Manager, Plumbing Supervisor, Leading Hand, Project Manager or similar
- Strong understanding of hydraulic services and commercial construction
- Confident reading hydraulic plans and construction documentation
- Strong knowledge of construction methodology and relevant Australian Standards
- Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
- Keen to take the next step into project delivery and leadership.
