About the Role

As a Chef, your responsibilities will include:

Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to our standards

Assisting with menu development and daily specials

Ensuring consistency, quality and presentation across all dishes

Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering

Managing food preservation and stock rotation to minimise waste

Maintaining high standards of food preparation, handling and storage

Assisting in the training and development of junior kitchen staff

Supporting the overall kitchen operations and service flow

Ensuring all food safety and health regulations are adhered to at all times

Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to achieve operational goals

What We're Looking For

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential)

Certificate IV in Kitchen Management (highly regarded)

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Chef with relevant qualifications, or 2–3 years of experience without formal qualifications

Previous Italian cuisine experience is highly regarded

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment

Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
