About the Company/Role
Our client is a global leader in analytical and medical instrumentation who support the life sciences & pharmaceutical industries. As a Technical Support Technician, you’ll support with installation and maintenance of a wide range of diagnostic imaging equipment.
Responsibilities include:
Develop a strong knowledge of the company’s product range
Perform installations and maintenance of medical instrumentation
Conduct preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs
Support sales staff with technical information and knowledge.
Respond in a timely manner to customer complaints
Maintain detailed and accurate records of service visits
Assisting with service contract renewals and finding new service business opportunities
Must have:
Restricted electrical license
Radiation license
Available for a rotating on-call roster
Available for regional, domestic and international travel
Skills/Experience
Degree, diploma, or trade certification in Electronics or Electrical field
Experience in field service of medical devices
Network and Dicom set up experience essential
Ability to work independently and be proactive
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Valid driver’s licence and eligibility to work in Australia
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
