About the Role

As a General Labourer / Building Manager, you’ll carry out a wide range of general maintenance, landscaping, cleaning, and labouring tasks across commercial and residential sites. This is a full-time role offering great variety, autonomy, and the backing of a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

General Maintenance & Labouring

Assist with general repairs including patching, painting, minor carpentry, and basic trade tasks

Support light tiling, flooring, cabinetry, and other building works

Assist trades and project teams as required

Perform general labouring duties across multiple sites

Grounds & Landscaping Maintenance

Mow lawns, whipper snip, prune plants, and maintain garden beds

Conduct general yard clean-ups and manage green waste

Maintain external areas including car parks, pathways, and common spaces

Cleaning & Site Presentation

Pressure washing and window cleaning

Maintain bin areas and shared facilities

Complete site clean-ups following maintenance or construction works

Ensure properties remain safe, tidy, and presentable

Site Operations & Client Interaction

Use job management software (e.g. SimPRO) to log and complete tasks

Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in clean, safe condition

Follow WHS procedures and complete required documentation

Communicate professionally with clients, tenants, and site representatives

Required Certifications

Current Driver’s Licence

White Card

Asbestos Awareness

Working Safely with Asbestos Containing Materials

Crystalline Silica Training

Working With Vulnerable People Card
