The Company
We’re partnering with a well-established Managed Services Provider that is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their high-performing team doing 100% project work, with none of the BAU. They support businesses across Australia, they deliver a wide range of IT solutions including managed services, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and strategic consulting across multiple industries.
With a growing client base and increasing demand for technical expertise here in Perth, the business is expanding and looking for a passionate project engineer to join them during this exciting phase.
The Role
As a Project Engineer, you'll deliver infrastructure and cloud projects. You'll be responsible for participating in the teams deployments, migrations, technology refreshes, and implementations across modern Microsoft, networking, and cloud environments.
This is a highly hands-on role with a great mix of onsite and remote project delivery, providing exposure to a wide range of technologies and technical challenges. If you enjoy variety, working directly with clients, and seeing projects through, this is an excellent opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end technical projects across diverse client environments
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Deliver cloud migrations, server upgrades, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and document management implementations.
- Coordinate internal engineers, third-party vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and minimal business disruption.
- Provide project planning, technical documentation, user onboarding, and post-implementation support while maintaining strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
The Person
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an IT support role (MSP experience highly desirable)
- Wanting to be on projects 100% of the time.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Azure, AD, Exchange, Intune, Azure AD)
- Experience with networking, firewalls, virtualisation, backup and recovery solutions
- Driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
