The Opportunity

Reporting to the Collections Team Leader, you will manage an early arrears portfolio of asset finance accounts up to 30 days past due. This is a fast-paced collections environment where you'll work with customers to achieve positive outcomes while meeting service and compliance standards.
Key responsibilities include:

• Managing an early arrears portfolio (up to 30 days past due)
• Conducting inbound and outbound collections calls
• Negotiating payment arrangements and resolving overdue accounts
• Assessing customer circumstances and identifying appropriate repayment solutions
• Liaising with internal departments to resolve customer enquiries
• Maintaining accurate records and complying with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Achieving individual collections and quality KPIs

About You

To be successful in this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas:

• Previous experience working in a collections, arrears or recoveries environment
• Exposure to asset finance, banking or financial services will be highly regarded
• Confidence managing difficult conversations while maintaining a professional and empathetic approach
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work in a KPI-driven environment
• Immediate availability or the ability to commence at short notice
