Whether you're working with new entrants, seasoned operators, or future mine managers, you’ll bring mining to life through practical, engaging delivery. You’ll play a vital role in helping learners meet industry standards and stay safe and competent on site. With your industry insight and commitment to quality, you'll empower students to build rewarding careers and meet the real demands of mine sites across Australia.

🔧 What You’ll Do

We are looking for an experienced and passionate trainer who wishes to share their knowledge to deliver and assess units related to mining both onsite (possibly offshore opportunities) and at our facility in Osborne Park.

If you have a strong background in mining and have experience in training delivery, enjoy a supportive and friendly workplace, and wish to be Perth based, this may be the next logical step for you!

Areas of training can include:

Working safely in a mining environment

Risk management units

Work safely at heights*

Confined space entry*

Mobile plant (based on experience)

Workplace health and safety units

Isolations and tagging* (and more…)

This position is ideal if you:

Have proven experience delivering high-quality training and assessment relevant to the mining industry

Communicate clearly, engage effectively with learners, and are confident using a laptop and digital resources

Manage your time well, stay organised, and adapt easily to changing training needs

Are looking to join a supportive team in a professional, down-to-earth training organisation

Essential:

Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or TAE40116 or TAE40122), currently completing or willing to complete the Qualification.

Relevant industry experience and qualifications in mining and workplace health and safety training

Hold relevant units related to mining with at least four years' experience in a mining environment.
