Building Designer

Custom Homes | Project Homes | Revit | Brisbane

We're looking for an experienced Building Designer who thrives on variety.

This isn't a role where you'll spend every day making minor amendments to standard plans. You'll work across everything from premium custom homes and bespoke client designs through to standard home ranges, townhouse developments and helping shape the design systems that support our future growth.

As our business continues to grow, we're building an in-house design team capable of delivering exceptional design across every market segment.

The Role

This is a hands-on design position with plenty of variety. You'll be involved in:

Designing custom homes from client brief through to construction documentation.

Developing and maintaining our standard home ranges.

Designing duplexes, townhouses and small-scale residential developments.

Creating and refining Revit families, templates and company standards.

Working closely with sales, estimating, interior design and construction teams.

Producing high-quality documentation suitable for construction.

Continuously improving our design systems and workflows.

About You

You'll ideally bring:

5+ years' experience as a Building Designer or Residential Draftsperson.

Strong experience working for an Australian volume home builder.

Advanced Revit capability.

Experience designing both custom homes and standard home ranges.

Experience with townhouse and medium-density residential projects.

Strong understanding of Australian residential construction methods and NCC requirements.

Excellent attention to detail and documentation standards.

A practical mindset with strong problem-solving ability.

The confidence to work independently while collaborating with a high-performing team.
