What would your practice look like if you weren't measured by six-minute units?
This opportunity is with a well established Melbourne law firm that does things differently. No timesheets and no billables. Just high-quality work, working with strong client relationships within a genuinely supportive culture.
Due to a consistent increase of work, we're looking for a Senior Associate to join our clients growing Workplace Relations team advising a broad range of clients.
You'll work directly with recognised leaders in the field on a mix of advisory and contentious matters, including:
• Employment contracts and executive arrangements
• Enterprise bargaining and industrial relations matters
• Workplace investigations
• Discrimination, bullying and harassment claims
• Award interpretation and compliance
• Workplace health and safety matters
• Employment disputes and litigation
• Strategic workforce and organisational change projects
This role would suit an employment lawyer who enjoys client-facing work, and wants to be part of a collaborative team working with award winning team leaders. This firm prides themselves on quality of work vs churning out work.
What's on offer?
• No timesheets or billable hour targets
• Genuine flexibility and hybrid working arrangements
• High-quality employment and workplace relations work
• Direct access to experienced mentors and recognised practitioners
• A supportive and values-driven culture
• Clear career progression opportunities
• Great location, modern offices
About You
• Senior Associate level experience in employment or workplace relations law
• Strong technical and commercial skills
• Ability to manage matters with increasing autonomy
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills
• Collaborative, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
