BMS Service Technician

Location: Melbourne, VIC
Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 + Super + Vehicle

An established and growing Building Automation specialist is looking for an experienced BMS Service Technician to join its Melbourne team.

You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and optimising BMS and HVAC control systems across a diverse portfolio of commercial and critical facilities. This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician looking for autonomy, technical variety and long-term career development.

Duties

• Service, maintain and troubleshoot BMS and HVAC control systems
• Diagnose hardware, software, network and controls faults
• Complete preventative and reactive maintenance
• Perform system modifications, upgrades and minor programming
• Commission and test BMS controllers and field devices
• Liaise with clients and provide high-quality technical support
• Complete service reports and technical documentation

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a BMS/BAS Service Technician or Controls Technician
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and control strategies
• Experience with BMS platforms such as Niagara, Innotech, Distech, Schneider, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Delta or similar
• Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus and building automation networks
• Strong fault-finding and commissioning capability
• Electrical or HVAC trade/engineering qualifications advantageous
