About the role

Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll support a broad range of finance activities, including:

Month-end journals, reconciliations and financial reporting

Management reporting, budgeting and forecasting support

General ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations

Audit preparation and compliance support

Analysis of business performance and financial trends

Process improvement, automation and finance project support.

About you

You are an experienced Assistant Accountant who enjoys working with numbers but is equally curious about how a business operates. To be successful, you will have:

Degree qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or Finance

Minimum 3 years' experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar role

Experience preparing journals, reconciliations and management reporting

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

Experience working with ERP or accounting systems

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
