This is a rare opportunity to take the reins of a highly diversified operation spanning accommodation, food and beverage, conferencing and events, and retail.

The Role:
The business is well-established, well-run and performing strongly. The opportunity is to build on that foundation - strengthening commercial performance, identifying further growth opportunities, and continuing to develop an already capable leadership team.

You will inherit an experienced group of departmental leaders who manage their respective areas with autonomy and expertise. Your role will be to bring those functions together, provide strategic direction, develop capability and ensure the business continues moving forward.

This is a genuine General Manager role where success comes from leading through people, not being drawn into every operational detail.
The Role Reporting to the Managing Director and supported by an established shared-services team, you will hold accountability for the overall commercial, operational and cultural performance of the business.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the P&L and set the strategic direction across each business unit.
• Lead, mentor and develop an experienced leadership team.
• Drive commercial performance and identify opportunities for growth.
• Maintain strong governance, licensing and compliance standards.
• Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences.
• Partner with ownership on budgets, forecasting and strategic priorities.
• Build capability, succession and a high-performance culture across the organisation.

Candidate Profile:
You are an accomplished hospitality leader who has successfully operated within a complex, high-volume environment and understands how to balance commercial outcomes with exceptional guest experiences.
You will bring:

• Proven experience leading a large-scale, multi-department hospitality operation.
• Strong commercial capability with demonstrated P&L accountability.
• The ability to develop, empower and inspire experienced managers.
• Strong understanding of hospitality licensing, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• The judgement to lead through others and maximise the capability of an established team.
• A strategic mindset balanced with operational credibility.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating outstanding experiences.

Salary & Benefits:

• Base salary of $220,000–$250,000, commensurate with experience
• Annual incentive scheme
